About Us

İzmir Vocational School Marketing Program continues to raise fully-equipped professionals required by the industry, blending its deep-rooted history dating back to 1982 with a modern educational approach.

Historical Development and Academic Structure

Establishment: Our program began its educational activities in 1982 under the Department of Economic and Administrative Programs under the name “Sales Management Program.”

Transformation: In line with the MEB-YÖK METEP (Vocational Schools Program Development Project) launched in 2002, the curriculum was enhanced, and the program was renamed the “Marketing Program.”

Departmental Structure: As of 2012, in harmony with the YÖK-İKMEP Project, it continues its academic presence under the Department of Marketing and Advertising.

International Standards and Quality Assurance

Following the İKMEP process, our program has aligned its educational content with the Bologna Process, offering a curriculum at global standards. As a testament to this academic transparency, our graduates are awarded the Diploma Supplement Label, which certifies the international recognition of their education.

Full Accreditation Success

As a result of our commitment to continuous improvement in educational quality, our program has been granted Full Accreditation by MEDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education) as of 2026. This accreditation serves as official registration that the education we provide is in full compliance with industry requirements and high-quality standards.

Educational Objectives and Goals of the IMYO Marketing Program

The educational objectives and goals of the IMYO Marketing Program are defined as follows:

“To provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in core professional fields; to develop their abilities in data analysis, effective communication, teamwork, ethical decision-making, and entrepreneurial thinking; and to train qualified professionals who can take an active role in the business world after graduation, adapt to constantly evolving marketing dynamics, and follow sectoral developments.”

Career Prospects Graduates of this program work in the marketing, sales, and public relations departments of many private and public institutions. They particularly pursue careers as sales representatives and sales managers in the automotive, apparel, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors.
